Learn all about Fred Perry: Opening on the 10 June is an exhibition dedicated to all things Fred Perry. Celebrating 70 years of the infamous Fred Perry polo shirt, it’s a chance to learn about one of Britain’s most famous sportswear brands and its cultural significance as a label that’s worn by tennis players and rockers alike. The show will run until 19 June and is free to attend at The Design Museum.

Visit the Punch Room: Say hello to the newly re-opened Punch Room at The London EDITION. Expect a menu that offers a modern take on century-old recipes, with the latest chapter menu series entitled, ‘Inception’. Inspired by four influential figures from the history of punch, they’ve all helped with the evolution of the drink through new ingredients, techniques and concepts.

See some art: Running from 1 June to 30 July is a new series of oil paintings by Austrian artist, Martha Jungwirth. Showing her largest solo exhibition to date in London, her works span both gallery floors.

Drawing upon what she describes as “conceptual pretexts” – there’s an amalgamation of Jungwirth’s travels, Greek mythology, the appearances of friends, and political events all captured in fleeting, quick impulses via the medium of paint that balance abstraction and figuration.

Take part in a charity event at BAFTA and mark Refugee Week: U.K.-based charity, Freedom from Torture is back with its gastronome-inspired event, The Great Street Feast to coincide with Refugee Week.
Taking place at the prestigious BAFTA Piccadilly on the 22 June, the celebrity-hosted evening will see leading chefs cook up gourmet street food from around the world, as well as an ‘in conversation’ segment whereby Adjoa Andoh and Natasha Kaplinsky discuss food and their memories.

There will also be a live auction on the night featuring a whole host of delicious treats and foodie experiences including a tour of the brand-new state of the art distilling H.Q. from BrewDog Distilling Co and a stay at BrewDog Kennels, an afternoon tea for two at the Haymarket Hotel, a luxury gift box of Wild Idol’s non-alcoholic sparkling rosé and Goodwood Revival tickets, dinner for two at 67 Pall Mall, and a signed and annotated script from charity ambassador, Helen Mirren.

Enjoy some fizz: Searcys host sell-out Champagne masterclasses, and on the 2 June, there will be a royal take on a tasting with ‘Champagne and Royal Connections’ at St Pancras by Searcys. See some fantastical art at the Hayward Gallery: Running from 29 June to 18 September will be the new exhibition In The Black Fantastic. The UK’s first major exhibition dedicated to the work of black artists, expect fantastical elements to address racial injustice and explore alternative realities. Curated by Ekow Eshun, works span a range of mediums from painting, photography and video to sculpture and mixed-media installations.

Visit a tropical terrace: Right in time for summer, Cointreau has partnered with pizza and cocktail bar Nebula to bring a Tropical Margarita Terrace to Hackney. Catch the rays whilst enjoying frozen margaritas and 12-inch pizzas, including a limited-edition ‘Peach for the Moon’ pizza, made with prosciutto, peaches and basil.

To add to the vibe there’s also music curated by Dante Gabriel a.k.a. Tenoshi who has held DJ residencies at Glastonbury, The Eden Project’s acclaimed Eden Sessions and The London O2 for Jamaica House during the London 2012 Olympics and Jamaica 50 celebrations.
See a musical: Taking place on the 20 June at the Sondheim Theatre is THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK IN CONCERT. The one-off concert directed by Maria Friedman will be the first time the musical has been seen in London since it originally played at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2000. As for the tale, three women bored with their town share a desire for “all manner of man in one man” to provide excitement and variety and it comes in the devil-like form of Darryl Van Horne (played by Olivier Award-winner Giles Terera).

Learn about the art of beekeeping: Ham Yard Hotel is celebrating bees and offering a special view of its beehives, located on the roof terrace. On the 13 June from 6pm to 8pm join Jane Horrocks and Esther Cole a.k.a. the hosts of the acclaimed podcast ‘Queen Bees’ to talk all things bees and beekeeping.
