8 Most Popular Products Food52 Readers Bought in April 2022

[ad_1]

I learned long ago that shopping is one of my greatest joys. Not just because I genuinely love discovering new products and brands, but because I love showing them off to anyone who will listen. So is it any surprise that I’m a market editor? Nope, none whatsoever.

Possibly an even greater joy? Seeing what our readers shop for each month. In April, so many of you picked up spring cleaning gear like grout cleaner and dryer vent brushes, as well as entertaining essentials like vintage-inspired lanterns and outdoor furniture on major sale at Wayfair.

Ahead, the eight most popular buys from our community in April. And if you’re curious about what people bought through all of 2021, we’ve got it all here.

1. Five Two Everyday Soft Cotton Cloth Napkins, $30-$45

For anyone who wants to cut down on single-use items around the house, our Five Two napkins are a beautiful and sustainable swap-in for paper napkins. They come in a range of colors and even coordinating sets to dress up any weeknight dinner. While we’re obviously biased, the numbers don’t lie: these were not just among February and March’s most popular buys but more than 1,000 folks grabbed the napkins this month as well.

This was among March’s most popular buys so we’re not surprised to see it appear in our April best-sellers list. It was by far the most effective grout cleaner we’ve used in our kitchens, beating three other products and methods we tested. Next up? Actually cleaning our bathroom grout.

4. OXO Good Grips Y-Peeler, $11.95

You never really think about a vegetable peeler unless it takes off too much skin, is difficult to maneuver, or rusts after one use. Staff writer Kelly Vaughan loves the durability and reliability of this Y-shaped peeler—for every one of these, she goes through four others from a different brand.
