Here are a few other variations that you’re welcome to try:

  • Add sweetener: Tonic water already adds significant sweetness to this drink. But if you prefer your coffee even sweeter, you are welcome to stir in some simple syrup or your preferred sweetener.
  • Add a cherry: For a fun cocktail-y twist, we occasionally love adding a Luxardo cherry to our cold brew tonics.
  • Use a flavored tonic water: There are all sorts of flavored tonic waters available nowadays that could add some interesting notes to this drink. But please pick wisely…some flavors could also be a bit of a disaster. )
  • Use espresso: You could also swap freshly-brewed espresso for cold brew concentrate if you would like. I would just recommend popping the espresso shots in the freezer for 10 minutes before making the drink so that they do not melt too much of the ice.
