Patrick Vieira, came the reply, while Bukayo Saka is told he’s “world class”.
Gabriel Martinelli? “What a guy. What a player.”
And the former Celtic star picked out Adama Traore and Riyad Mahrez as his top opponents of last season.
But then comes the mad shouts with one fan asking: ‘What’s your favourite meal-deal combination at Tesco?’
It’s clearly a reference to Tierney’s famous bag for life but the £3 lunch is an alien concept to the left-back. “Never had one hahah!” he replied.
Sticking with food, he was then asked: ‘What’s the one English food you have found that you never knew you liked?’
A flummoxed Tierney replied: “Not even sure to be honest mate. Av no tried any new English food a don’t think.”
Finally, he reckons pal and MMA superstar McGregor could put a shift in at centre-back for Arsenal : “Centre half. No nonsense. Put the fear in everyone. Seen him upfront as well, great goal scorer. Can do it all.”
