These lovely Oreo Easter Chicks are easy to make with oreo cookies, yellow sweet coating, and pretzel rods.
Now that my little ones are youngsters I can’t seriously get them intrigued in decorating Easter Eggs, but they often get energized about taking in Oreos since I almost never invest in them. When I observed sweet Easter Chicks produced out of Oreos on Pinterest I realized we had to make them.

These sweet small Easter Oreo Chicks are enjoyment to make and would be fantastic for a university party.
In truth I am not the craftiest individual, I never have a whole lot of persistence, and I can be a minor messy, so the Easter Chicks my daughter produced had been way much better than the ones I designed and hers are the kinds pictured. While I do believe element of her good results was that she built hers soon after I produced mine and the candy melts experienced cooled and thickened a little bit. My oreos weren’t coated quite properly and I felt like the cookie was exhibiting as a result of.

Soften yellow candy melts according to package deal instructions. Location a piece of wax paper on a baking sheet.

Dip oreo cookies in melted candy melts, totally covering them in yellow. Put on wax paper and immediately stick 2 pretzel pieces in for legs and 2 mini chocolate chips for eyes.

Use orange decorating gel or melted orange sweet melts to make beaks.

Spot in fridge to set.
If you use double-stuff oreos, you must be in a position to stick the pretzel items into the filling.
