A Well-liked Glasgow pop-up restaurant has been nominated for a prestigious award.
The Scottish Street Foods Awards, held next weekend, will see ten gifted traders from across the country compete.
Glasgow-based Kochchi, which specialises in Sri Lankan foodstuff, is dealing with rigid levels of competition from other pop-ups like Edinburgh-centered Lemon Squeezy, Ox & Anchor of Pittenween and reigning street food champions Antojitos Food stuff Truck.
Kochchi has delighted Glaswegians at occasions like Big Feed and TRNSMT and delivers delicacies like rooster Kotthu, warm butter cauliflower and fried cuttlefish.
Renowned culinary specialists like Mathew Sherry, head chef at the Balmoral, will aspect on the judging panel, while the general public also gets to choose their favourite street food trader.
The Scottish winners will have the chance to compete in the British Avenue Foods Awards finals, and likely go on to the 2022 European Street Meals Awards in Munich.
