Tesco has mixed up their Clubcard strategy to pitch June’s exclusive deals against each other to find the nation’s ultimate favourite snack or drink.

Coinciding with Euro 2020 football tournament, the Clubcard Prices Cup sees classic British snacks and drinks reduced for shoppers with a Clubcard – and then they are asked to vote for their favourite on Twitter.

The product that wins the round will go onto further rounds until the nation’s favourite is crowned. The Clubcard deal comes as Tesco has announced it is launching its first store with no tills which you can read more about here.

The deals for Clubcard holders so far have included Original and Sour Cream flavoured Pringles, reduced from £2.50 to £1.50, and 18 packs of Strongbow or Fosters lowered to £10 per pack.

Tesco launched the third round yesterday, asking shoppers to choose from packs of 20 chicken poppers or sausage rolls.

The food featuring in this Clubcard mix-up for June is all seasonal and aimed at those hosting football BBQs.

The Tesco Clubcard has been around since 1995 and gained five million Clubcard users in its first year and now has an estimated 19 million users.

Alongside this Tesco is donating 10p to the charity NARF, Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, from every sold item from their Tesco Free From range until and including Saturday, June 19, as part of World Allergy Week.

Natasha’s parents set up the charity after their daughter passed away from an allergic reaction after eating food that was incorrectly labelled.
